Austrian Federation and Innsbruck yesterday and today

2017 marks the 125th anniversary of the founding of the International Skating Union (ISU). The first World Championships of the year 2017 are held in Innsbruck, a city with a long history in hosting sport events. 1964 and 1976 the Olympic Games were held. Unforgettable moments happened when for example in 1964 Russian Lidija Skoblikowa won all gold medals at the Olympic speed skating events. 2012 the upcoming stars were participating at the first Winter Youth Olympic games at Innsbruck. To honour this big history the Austrian Speed Skating Association has designed a folder to sum up our history in this sport and we also introduce our athletes.
